The latest Northern Rangelands Trust (NRT) Bi-Annual Report cites Good Governance, Effective Management, and Financial Viability as the three pillars underpinning NRT’s approach to conservancy resilience. The Report outlines Good Governance as “community-driven decision making that results in strong community ownership, equitable benefit distribution, and transparent and accountable conservancy boards and administration”.
MSWC is pleased to have contributed to the realisation of these strategic objectives through funding a number of Leadership and Management Program (LAMP) cohorts within the NRT community.
Based on identified focal areas, MSWC continues to commit its time, energy, and resources to assist in developing and piloting a comprehensive “Training of Trainers” program in Kenya.
